02-07-2012 8:59 a.m. – 911 Hangup – 100 blk. Thornhill Circle – A resident accidentally dialed 911 thru their cellphone (which had been placed in a purse).
02-07-2012 8:52 p.m. – Disturbance – 100 blk. Chapel Hill Dr. – Altercation between family members.
02-08-2012 8:11 p.m. – Odor Investigation – 500 blk. Waketon Rd. – Police and Fire Department personnel investigated odor of gas near Waketon Rd.
02-08-2012 10:10 a.m. – Alarm – 300 blk. E. Carruth – Residential alarm activated. No signs of criminal activity.
02-09-2012 7:51 p.m. – Solicitor Complaint – 400 blk. Brown Cliff Ct. – Officer responded to complaints about a solicitor. Subject was gone prior to the officer’s arrival.
02-10-2012 1:23 p.m. – Alarm – 100 blk. Creek Side Dr. – Alarm activated for unknown reason while the resident was at home.
02-11-2012 11:55 a.m. – Assist Agency (Criminal Trespass In Progress) – 1200 blk. Central Way, Lantana – Double Oak Officer provided assistance to Sheriff’s Deputy with investigation of criminal trespass in a new development.
02-12-2012 2:32 p.m. – Theft – 100 blk. Chapel Hill Dr. – Firearm and laptop taken from home after a party hosted by a young adult.
02-15-2012 8:31 p.m. – Assist Agency (Domestic Disturbance) – 1900 blk. Jeter Rd., Bartonville – Double Oak Police Officer assisted Bartonville with investigation of a family violence allegation that had occurred in Lantana. Double Oak Officer remained on scene until the victim was transported to the hospital.
02-17-2012 10:54 p.m. – Alarm – 6700 blk. Hawk Rd. – Residential alarm activated for no known reason. Officer found no sign of criminal activity.
02-18-2012 2:51 p.m. – Disturbance – 100 blk. Park Ln. – Adult refusing to leave the property. Further investigation revealed that the involved party was a census worker and there was initial confusion on the residents part regarding the person’s employment.
02-18-2012 8:52 p.m. – Assist Agency (Person with a gun) – 2600 blk. FM 407, Denton Cnty. – Double Oak P.D. assisted Denton Cnty. Deputies with finding what was described as a man with a gun and wearing camouflage. Further investigation revealed that the person was a juvenile carrying a paintball gun. The juvenile was taken home to his parents.
02-20-2012 7:44 p.m. – Assist Agency (Disturbance) – 13000 blk. Stonebridge Rd., Argyle – Double Oak assisted Denton County Deputies with the investigation of a family violence offense allegation. DOPD stayed on scene until an adult male was taken into custody.
02-22-2012 7:48 p.m. – Missing Person – 200 blk. Valley View Trl. – Residents reported their adult male son as missing from home. Subject was later found by law enforcement.
02-23-2012 1:33 a.m. – Assist Agency (Suspicious Vehicle) – 2300 blk. Britt Dr., Denton Cnty. – Double Oak assisted Denton County Sheriff’s Deputies by assisting with the investigation into a suspicious vehicle. DOPD detained the subject until the arrival of the Denton County Sheriff’s Office.
