Obit: Denton James Ward

Denton James Ward, age 18 and a resident of Flower Mound, TX, passed away on February 18, 2012 in College Station, TX.

Denton was born on April 9, 1993 in Irving, TX and was a 2011 graduate of Marcus High School were he lettered in Football and Baseball.  Denton was attending Blinn College in Brenham, TX.  He loved the outdoors were he hunted and fished and was active in Fellowship Christian Athletes, participated in Adopt an Athlete and Umpired Little League Baseball games.  Denton is survived by his father, Rick Ward and his mother Denise Whitaker and her husband, David.  He is also survived by his three brothers, Dylan Ward and Casey and David Whitaker and one sister, Sarah Whitaker.  His grandparents; Yvonne and Leslie Ward and Jim and Sharon Ledenham.  A visitation will be held on Tuesday, February 21, 2012 from 6:00pm till 9:00pm at Flower Mound Family Funeral Home.  Funeral services will be on Wednesday, February 22, 2012 at 2:00pm at The Village Church in Flower Mound, TX.  Burial will follow at Flower Mound Cemetery.  If you wish to send a condolence or sign an online register book please go to: www.flowermoundfuneralhome.com.
