Liberty Christian senior Tim Douglass was named Church’s Scholar of the Week on Chevrolet’s Inside High School Sports.
Douglass plays football and basketball and participates in the Key Club, a Kiwanis International High School Program.
“Tim’s hard work in the classroom translates to his work ethic in football. He is a very smart football player that allows him to make plays that others can’t. It is good to see Tim get this recognition,” said LCS defensive coach, Rick Gailey.
Douglass is also a member of Liberty’s Spanish National Honor Society, and is a mentor for Middle School students in a program at Liberty called Impact. In addition to being a camp counselor for Sports World, he has been on mission trips with Liberty, one of which helped a Christian school in Limerick, Ireland.
