Get ready for a ducky time…the local chapter of Ducks Unlimited, the world’s largest and most effective wetland and waterfowl conservation organization, will hold its banquet on Thursday, September 15th at Marine Max, 1490 N. Stemmons Freeway, in Lewisville.

The event will start at 6:00 p.m. featuring a full catered meal from Outback Steakhouse.

Celebrating the 26th year of hosting this popular banquet, the Lake Lewisville Chapter of Ducks Unlimited (DU) will include live and silent auctions and an impressive raffle with chances to win a variety of firearms and outdoor related items, along with limited edition DU merchandise.

“Our annual banquet is always well-supported by community leaders and prominent area businesses,” said Scott Kline, Area Chairman of the Lake Lewisville DU Chapter.

“It’s a great evening to relax, reconnect with friends and meet new people – all while contributing to conserve our beautiful lakes and wetland for future generations. We invite everyone to join us for a fun evening!”

Ticket prices are $60 per person, $100 per couple and Greenwings (under 17) are $35. This covers the Outback Steakhouse catered meal, beverages and a one-year DU membership. In addition, attendees get a free Lake Lewisville DU T-shirt.

Space is limited and advance ticket purchases are strongly recommended. A few Corporate tables for 10 are still available at $600. To purchase tickets, contact Scott Kline at 940-783-7186 or Jeff Potter at 214-908-5563. With nearly 50,000 DU members in the Lone Star State, DU and its partners have performed more than $18 million worth of conservation projects in Texas on approximately 146,000 acres. Ducks Unlimited has assembled a staff of conservation professionals that includes the world’s leading authorities on waterfowl biology, wetland ecosystems, and environmental engineering.
