The Town of Flower Mound is hosting a public comment period through April 18 to solicit feedback regarding outstanding items related to the Oil and Gas Advisory Board’s proposed ordinance amendments.
The board presented proposed amendments to the ordinances governing local gas well drilling and production operations in January.
Approximately 17 outstanding items were identified in subsequent public hearings and were presented to the Town Council on March 21.
Members of the community are invited to submit feedback regarding these 17 issues during the comment period by email to firstname.lastname@example.org.
In addition, the Town will host community meetings to solicit public comment regarding the items from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. on April 7 at the Central Fire Station, 3838 Forums Drive, and from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. on April 12 at Fire Station No. 2, 4401 Shiloh Road.
