Chicks Dig it…and Guys do too! clothing and home decor boutique in Flower Mound recently donated over $5,000 worth of clothing to Denton County Friends of the Family.
The donation included new ladies’ clothing as well as clothing for little girls.
“The clothes brought several ladies to tears. They were so excited to have new clothing to choose from. The little girls immediately were drawn to the fabulous ‘tutus’,” said Carol Gaige, Friends of the Family Community Relations Director.
Friends of the Family provides shelter and free outreach services to those who have been affected by relationship violence and/or sexual assault. Services include a 24-hour crisis line, counseling for adults and children, education, violence intervention and prevention and many other programs.
Friends of the Family’s fundraising event, Rhapsody in Blue, is Saturday, April 2.
