Harpool Middle School teachers Brian Hill (left) and Will Matthews joined the “Movember” movement and grew out mustaches during the month of November to promote prostate and testicular cancer awareness among Harpool students and families.
The duo helped sponsor a “students vs. faculty” volleyball game and hosted other events throughout the community to raise more than $600 they will donate in Harpool’s name to the Prostate Cancer Foundation and Livestrong.
Since its inception in 2005, Movember has raised more than $100 million for cancer research with men around the world growing mustaches in the name of cancer awareness.
