Super slimmers from Flower Mound are throwing a birthday party to celebrate the first anniversary of a new weight loss program in north Texas.
Slimmers at the group have a lot to celebrate – they’ve lost a combined total of 2,100 since the club opened in March this year. And they’re inviting everyone in Flower Mound who’d like to lose weight to come along to find out more.
Slimming World is the Brits’ most popular way to lose weight, and in the UK the club helps more than 300,000 people achieve their weight loss goals. The company works alongside the UK government to tackle the nation’s growing obesity problem.
The first Slimming World groups opened their doors in North Texas last September and the latest group in Flower Mound was opened by successful Flower Mound slimmer Alma Hall in March of this year, after she lost 50 lbs at a Slimming World group herself.
Hall is inviting anyone who’d like to find out more about Slimming World’s hunger-busting weight loss plan to come along to the party on Thursday September 30th at 9.30 a.m. and 5.30 p.m. at Flower Mound Community Church, 3415 Cross Timbers Rd.
“When I first heard about Slimming World, I couldn’t believe there was a weight loss plan where you could eat so much everyday, healthy food, never feel hungry and still lose weight. But it works – and I’m living proof,” said Hall.
Hall added that the party is the perfect opportunity for people to come along and see what Slimming World is all about – there’s no obligation to join.
“They’ll be able to see for themselves what amazing support you get in group every week and they’ll be able to sample delicious dishes from our fabulously flexible Food Optimising eating plan. Slimming World really does prove that slimming doesn’t have to equal starving!”
