Local woman makes finding creative talent easier

Flower Mound resident Melanie Hoffman had a creative idea.  She collects creatives.

Her new website – CreativesinDFW.com – is a unique site that allows ad agencies, freelancers, photographers, and printers to post and advertise their services.  The one stop shop for creatives offers three levels of membership that list a business at either the free, basic, or premium level.  The most a business will spend to be marketed through this site is $250 per year per agency.

“The depth of creative talent here in DFW is remarkable,” said Hoffman, a Dallas marketing communications professional and the visionary behind the CreativesinDFW.com project who has called Flower Mound home for eight years.

“As the economy begins to rebound, companies are igniting their marketing and advertising efforts.  CreativesinDFW.com solves a major challenge for local businesses – finding the right talent and resources that match their needs and can be working on a project as early as tomorrow.”

“When you are working on a major marketing project, nothing beats a face-to-face meeting and this tool makes it easy for business owners to find creative talent in their backyard,” Hoffman adds.

Hoffman serves the local community by participating in Flower Mound Rotary Club and is also the owner of Brandnu Marketing, a full-service marketing communications agency located in Addison, TX.

When asked why she would establish a website where her own competition can market their services Hoffman replied, “Each business seeking creative resources has specific needs, and each creative agency or individual provides specific services.  Now companies can find the best match that meets their needs.  Because of that, there are plenty of opportunities for us to all share.”

CreativesinDFW.com provides a comprehensive online directory of creative professionals in the Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex.  The site also includes a complete listing of the creative non-profit organizations in DFW that support creative professionals.
