When Jamie Augenstein, owner of Rouge Moderne Bistro in Flower Mound, was talking to her friend, Lynn Moon, about a theme for the restaurant’s July Girls’ Night Out event, they agreed that they wanted to do something fun that would support our Troops overseas.
Lynn’s husband, Tony, was a Lieutenant Colonel in the Army and both of his sons are career servicemen. Ken is a sergeant with the Army and Jerred is a 1st Lieutenant in the Air Force.
That evening, guests brought items for the soldiers from a list provided. The generous response was overwhelming.
