Area Republicans have several gatherings planned in the coming days.
This Tuesday, July 6, the Denton County Republican Assembly will meet at 6:30 p.m. at 551 N. Valley Parkway in Lewisville.
The speaker will be Dr. Donald R. May, MD, FACS, a former a candidate for the U.S. House of Representatives who will make his presentation, “One Nation Under God — The Return to the Constitution,” on the religious foundations of the Constitution of the United States.

On Saturday morning, July 10, Denton County Republican Precinct Chair and Activist Training will take place from 9:00 a.m. to noon at Lakeland Baptist Church in Lewisville.
Next Tuesday evening, July 13, the regular monthly meeting of the Town of Flower Mound Republicans will take place at Salerno’s, 3407 Long Prairie.
Dinner will be served at 5:45 p.m. and the meeting will begin at 7:00. State Representative Wayne Christian will be the speaker.
