Argyle woman to oversee new investment office

Katie Harrington of Argyle has been tapped to open the first Denton County branch of online investing firm Scottrade this month in Denton.

Scottrade is opening its 475th branch office on July 12th at 1400 S. Loop 288, in the Denton Crossing East Shopping Center.

“With the new branch office opening in Denton, investors who live and work in the area will find a convenient location to stop in and learn more about the firm’s brokerage services,” said Harrington, a lifetime Texas resident.
