Guyer orchestra to host spring concert

The Guyer High School orchestra will be hosting its annual Spring Concert at 7 p.m. this Thursday, May 13, at the school auditorium.

The concert will feature musical works found throughout Latin America as well classical numbers commonly used in Bugs Bunny cartoons.

Each of Guyer’s three orchestra groups (philharmonic, cadenza and rhapsody) will each perform.

The orchestra is also selling raffle tickets for a chance to win an Apple iPad and iPod Touch to be given away at the event.

Admission to the concert is free.
