Voters in Denton Independent School District kept the same faces on the school board.
In Place 3, Dr. Glenna Harris received 2,118 and Sheryl English 1,399. Dr. Harris has served on the board since 2007 and is currently board secretary.
English, a Denton ISD parent, ran for Place 1 in the 2009 trustee election and lost by just 15 votes.
In Place 5, Charles Stafford received 2,210 votes and Calvin Evans 1,236 votes. Mr. Stafford is past president of the board and has served since 2004. He also served from 1988 to 1994. Evans served on Place 5 of the board from 1995 to 2004 when he did not seek re-election.
Mia Price was unopposed in Place 4 and was declared an elected trustee. She has served on the board since 2001.
The vote tallies include 96 percent of all the precincts reporting.
