The Argyle Town Hall renovation is nearly complete and the Town’s administrative operations will be closing down at their current location on Hwy 377 this Thursday, April 29, and moving to the new Town Hall at 308 Denton Street in the former Argyle United Methodist Church to re-open for business on Monday, May 3rd.
In order to make the transition, phones and computers will not be functioning beginning Thursday, officials said. However, town staff will be available with cell phones at both sites, so citizens needing service can still access Town Hall operations.
The Argyle Police Department is temporarily located at 302 Denton Street in the former Argyle United Methodist Church parsonage located west of the new Town Hall.
Police operations will remain at the temporary location until renovation is completed at the old Town Hall on Hwy 377 in approximately 45 days. The Police Department and Municipal Court operations will then move back into the old Town Hall.
The Town Hall and Police/Court facilities will be officially dedicated on August 24, 2010.
