Texas Roadhouse in Flower Mound is hosting a benefit on Wednesday, April 14, from 4 to 10 p.m. to help a Lantana family.
The restaurant is donating 15 percent of their meal proceeds from that day to the family of Mark Austry.
Austry, 32, passed away suddenly on March 14 following the Rock ‘n’ Roll Half Marathon in Dallas. The husband and father left behind his wife, Mariana, and two daughters, Isabella, 3, and Anna, 1.
Restaurant patrons should tell their server that they are there on behalf of the Austry family.
Texas Roadhouse is located at 3811 Long Prairie Road.
“The Austry family would like to thank all of you for your prayers and kindness during this difficult time,” said Tammy Schumacher, a Lantana resident who helped organize the event.
