The annual Denton ISD Book Cents fundraiser will be held this Thursday, March 25, through Sunday, March 28, at the Denton Civic Center, located at 321 E. McKinney St.
Opening night is scheduled from 6 to 10 p.m. Thursday. Admission to the opening night is $5 per person or $10 for an entire family. The sale continues from 6 to 10 p.m. Friday, March 26.
The sale will run from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Saturday, March 27, and wrap up from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Sunday, March 28.
A joint partnership between Denton ISD, Denton Public School Foundation and the Denton Community Council of PTAs, the fundraiser features used books in 23 different categories for sale at reasonable prices.
All proceeds from the event benefit Denton ISD campus libraries, PTAs and the Denton Public School Foundation with funds raised going toward student scholarships, teacher enrichment grants, training grants for local PTA chapters and improvement to campus library technology and materials.
