The Denton County Transportation Authority is offering two opportunities for the public to learn about the group’s latest transit improvement efforts.
Public meetings will take place on March 22 in Lewisville and March 23 in Denton.
The meetings will provide a report on the A-train passenger rail line, which is currently under construction, and an update on DCTA’s other capital projects – including a new bus maintenance facility. Information about the start of DCTA’s long-range planning effort also will be provided.
The first meeting will be held on Monday, March 22, at 6:30 p.m., at the Lewisville Municipal Annex Community Room, 1197 W. Main Street (Connect Routes 20 and 21).
The Denton meeting will be held the next evening at the Fred Moore High School Gym, 815 Cross Timbers Street (Connect Route 2), at 6:30 p.m.
Persons with hearing or vision disabilities who would like to attend the meetings are asked to contact the DCTA at least two business days before the meetings at 972-221-4600 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
