A new statewide watchdog group keeping their eye on the oil and gas industry sent a clear message at their launch on Wednesday: We’re here, and we’re watching.
The Texas Oil & Gas Accountability Project is Texas’ branch of the group. OGAP is a non-governmental organization and has been involved in environmental initiatives in New Mexico and Colorado. Presenting the Texas group and explaining its mission was a group of five presenters plus Calvin Tillman, mayor of the Denton County town of DISH, and State Rep. Lon Burnham. Read more here.
