Volunteers with the Flower Mound Cares citizen’s group collected signatures at the Sagebrush West Office Park on FM 2499 Sunday afternoon in order to slow the proliferation of new gas pipelines and related facilities.
The newly-formed organization held their first petition drive over the weekend at several locations around town in hopes of getting at least 6,195 signatures to propose an ordinance that would place a moratorium on new gas pipelines and centralized wastewater collection facility permits.
