January 23
12:25 p.m. – 800 Copper Canyon Rd. – Double Oak Officer dispatched to help Denton County Sheriff’s Office with traffic control on a major accident.

5:35 p.m. –  800 blk. Cross Timbers Dr.  – Citizen had questions regarding a civil dispute.

January 25
11:25 a.m. – Open Door – 100 blk. Carruth Ln. W. – Officer responded to alarm call and found an open door. 

3:46 p.m. – Theft – 5500 blk. Chinn Chapel Rd. – Officers called regarding theft.  No report made after items located by homeowner.

8:37 p.m. – Solicitor Complaint – 100 blk. Tanglewood – Officers received notification regarding possible solicitor violation.  Officers were unable to locate the subject. 

January 26
7:10 p.m. – Abandoned Vehicle – 200 blk. Crosstimbers Dr. – Officer dispatched on an abandoned vehicle.  Car was gone upon officer arrival.

11:52 p.m. – Dog Bite – 300 blk. Cedarcrest Ln. – Officer responded to dog bite investigation.

2:55 p.m. – Telephone Harassment – 3000 blk. Chapel Ct. – Complainant filed report with the Police Department regarding telephone harassment by known person.
