Kathy Duke recently announced her intent to run for a third term for the Lewisville Independent School District’s Board of Trustees this May.
“It has been an honor to serve our community for the past six years,” Duke said. “I believe my background and knowledge about LISD will allow me to further advance the quality of our schools.”

“This community is my home and my children’s home,” Duke said, “By serving as an LISD Board member and dedicating time to various service organizations, I want to continue giving back to the area that has provided me with so much.”
Duke currently serves on the Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital Flower Mound Governing board and was past president of nonprofit Southern Denton County Neighbor to Neighbor, Past Chairman of Flower Mound Chamber of Commerce and has served as a board member on various organizations, including the Flower Mound Chamber of Commerce, Lewisville Chamber of Commerce, Lewisville Board of Adjustments, Flower Mound Rotary Club, Cross Timbers YMCA, Youth and Family Counseling, Lewisville Education Foundation, and Pedi-Place.
